No sex for England's Lions until they roar

England's footballing stars have failed to overturn a sex ban imposed on them by their previous manager, Fabio Capello, when they couldn't beat France in their opening group match at Euro 2012 on Tuesday.

The no-sex rule states: Win the beautiful game and you can meet your beautiful wives and girlfriends.

A source told The Daily Star, the English FA even block-booked accommodation for the WAGs in Krakow. But the promise of a shag went up in smoke when their men failed to find the back of the net and could only draw 1-1 against the French.

England now hopes to defeat Sweden (16 June, Malaysian time), which lost 2-1 to Ukraine, before they can enjoy a romp under the sheets. But if Steven Gerrard can't captain them to success, the WAGs had better pray the Three Lions don't give up the game to Ukraine next.

Ukraine is currently enjoying the host nation privilege. Football pundits may scoff at the team's chances for the Euro trophy, being ranked no. 52 by FIFA, but then Sweden was ranked no. 17 going into the competition and look what happened to them.

There really should be no problem for England, now ranked no. 6, to win against Sweden and Ukraine. Then again, strange things have happened and if it goes pear shaped, they'll all have wait until they're back home before they hook up.

Current England WAGs include Gerrard's wife Alex Curran, Wayne Rooney's missus Coleen and Theo Walcott's fiancée Melanie Slade.
