Chong Wei suffers defeat in India Open

World's number one shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei has been defeated in the India Open badminton championships.
South Korean Shon Wan-Ho, who is ranked No. 17, upset him 21-18, 14-21, 21-19 to win the men's singles title in New Delhi on Sunday.
It was the unheralded South Korean's first BWF Super Series title.
The match lasted slightly more than an hour and was Chong Wei's first defeat at the hands of Wan-ho in five encounters.
The tournament was the first Chong Wei participated in since suffering a shoulder injury, but he said this was not the reason he lost.
"Everything is fine. This is my first game after the injury, so it's okay.
"Shon played very very well," he told Bernama.
Chong Wei also said his focus now was for the Olympics and has a good three months to train.
