More people going nude in Singapore

Nudity is fast becoming a national issue in Singapore.

According to The Straits Times, the police received 105 reports on men running buck naked in the streets in the first six months of this year.

The latest incident involved a man who walked into McDonalds's outlet in Queensway and tried to order breakfast at 4am in the buff, reports STOMP, The Straits Times pullout.

The police say the offenders are usually exhibitionists or attention seekers

Some do it to draw attention to themselves. Others get a thrill out of seeing the look of shock on people's faces.

Either way, it is the kind of behaviour that leaves many Singaporeans disgusted.

But a growing number of people in Singapore are risking a fine or even jail by parading around naked in public.
