Amid wild speculation on who Amber Chia's orange-haired husband is, the man in question decided to come clean about it. He is her closest male friend, manager and business partner - Adrian Wong.
Just for the record, Adrian is a business graduate from Melbourne University and spent 10 years living Down Under.
The shy guy is also formerly the founder and director of Absolute Entertainment, the event management company that was responsible for bringing in the Pussycat Dolls and Andy Lau to Malaysia.
So shy is he that he decided to bleach his hair bright orange just for his wedding, hoping that no one would recognise him.
"It was supposed to be white 'coz that's the theme of our wedding," joked Adrian. "But my stylist went and dyed my hair orange. I will never go back to him again."
Adrian and Amber decided to go public after their secret nuptial in Bali was exposed recently.
"We've decided to come out because we want people to stop speculating," the newlyweds confessed to The Daily Chilli Tuesday. "We don't want things to go out of control."
The sweet couple met up with a select group of Malaysian journalists on Tuesday afternoon to clarify the situation.
"We're sorry if we shocked a lot of people, including our own friends," the Malaysian supermodel said apologetically. "But we're just two people in love who would like to keep things private."
Truly, none of their close circle of friends (including yours truly) could sniff out their romance. Adrian - the quiet one as I like to call him, has always managed to keep things "strictly business".
In fact, I remember him reprimanding her at the height of her Ford Supermodel of the World Malaysia 2009 crisis. "Please choose your business partner carefully," he told her sternly. "You're too trusting. That's why you're easily cheated."
No PDA (public display of affection) either.
"Except when no eyes are watching," said Amber with a laugh.
The newlyweds were all lovey-dovey, pinching each other and holding each other's hand during this interview. She even called him "banana" for his inability to speak Mandarin.
Defending her man, she said, "Adrian is not fierce at all. He's a romantic guy, actually. He always likes to surprise me."
His biggest surprise for her came five and a half months ago when he popped the question - by just leaving a wedding ring on her bed - after they secretly courted for one and a half years.
As both had always wanted a quiet wedding, the couple decided to get hitched secretly on the mystical island of Bali on March 25.
While he gave her a two-carat diamond ring, she gave him a Bulgari wedding band.
"I made him pay for the entire wedding," she teased him.
On their secret nuptials, she explained, "It's our biggest wish to celebrate our togetherness with close family members and friends. But I have no intention to hide my marriage from the media and the public.
" It's just that Adrian and I were looking for a more appropriate time to make it public. Please understand that he's not a celebrity and he's not used to the limelight like I do."
When asked if she was a "homewrecker" as some parties have accused, Amber said, "Never. By the time I got to know Adrian and eventually fell in love with him, he was officially divorced from his wife."
The 36-year-old businessman, who is involved in property business in Australia, Hong Kong and Malaysia, has two kids from his previous marriage.
"I won't deny that I was married before," admitted Adrian. "But my wife and I were already divorced when I was seeing Amber. And I wish to let bygones be bygones."
