Second actress exposes Jack Neo's advances

A second woman has stepped forward in the Jack Neo sex scandal, and spoken of how he wooed her and asked her to join him in a hotel room.
Foyce Le Xuan, a 25-year-old actress-host, told Lianhe Wanbao in an interview published yesterday: "The year I joined J Team, he chased me like mad."
She signed with the film-maker's production company in 2004 and said she thought of him as a mentor. But he soon made her uncomfortable with his unwelcome advances.
Neo, 50, Singapore's most successful director, made the news over the weekend after he admitted to having an affair with model Wendy Chong, 22.
Wendy had confronted him and his wife, Irene Kng, last Friday, and their meeting at Crowne Plaza hotel at Changi airport was reported by Wanbao.
Wendy said she met Neo when she auditioned for his 2008-made movie, Money No Enough 2, and they had sex in his car one month later.
Foyce claimed that when she first joined J Team, Neo would drive her home and clutch her hand, telling her he would make her the next Fann Wong.
"I was just 20 then, a little girl. If I said something, I was afraid I would be boycotted. He clutched my hand and I didn't dare resist," she said.
Her boyfriend at the time broke up with her over her rides in Neo's car, she added.
To avoid Neo's advances, she decided to hitch lifts from funnyman Henry Thia, who is also with J Team, instead.
Neo texted her relentlessly and sometimes sent 30 messages in a day, she claimed.
"The SMSes would read 'I miss you to death' or 'You're too pretty'. Sometimes I got a call from Jack Neo at midnight and he would say he had to hear my voice to have the inspiration for his script," she said.
Once, he told her he had booked a room in a hotel and would wait for her to join him so that they could spend some time together "quietly and privately".
But she did not go, she said.

Foyce Le Xuan: 'Neo sent 30 SMSes a day to me.
Around the time he was wooing her, his wife had given birth to their fourth child. When his wife went to his workplace with the baby, Foyce said: "I saw how cute the baby was, and I was relieved I hadn't made a mistake with Jack Neo."
She said she paid the price for staying away from him, however.
She had been cast in The Best Bet (2004), but was dropped from the movie later. Her jobs dried up, and she bailed out of her three-year contract with J team after less than two years.
She said she decided to speak to reporters after reading the reports on Wendy Chong, who had acted in two of Neo's movies.
"Jack Neo chases girls in the same way. He asks for their phone numbers, sends them SMSes and sweet-talks the prey he has his eye on."
She said he acted like a Don Juan around her, "like he was my boyfriend".
"I didn't think of him as a boyfriend. I was only afraid I would offend him..."
Neo has not responded to the report on Foyce. He told Wanbao through his manager that he would talk to reporters when he was ready.
His wife was quoted as saying however: "We're okay and the kids are fine."
She said the children were still going to school. - The Straits Times/ANN
