A stairway to lovin'
A Chinese man bought 999 roses and spread them on the stairway of his ex-girlfriend's flat to show his love for her.
The office worker from Dalian city of Liaoning province came up with the idea after his girlfriend wanted a split, saying they were not suitable for each other. In an attempt to win back her heart, the man began to spend 2,400 yuan (RM1,198) on the roses on Monday.
But she was not touched. Thus, he repeated the act until the ex-girlfriend complained to him on the fourth day.
"I did this because I wanted to tell her I love her truly, I wish that she goes to work happily every morning. Love is also about respect, this is the last day I'm doing this," the man, who declined to be named, told reporters. "Even if we're not together, I hope that she is happy."
Awww..doesn't that warm the cockles of the heart?
