Woman cop groped colleagues

A woman cop groped five male and female colleagues — grabbing at one officer’s genitals and saying “Nice package”, a court heard yesterday.

Sylvia Cooper, 45, is also accused of touching a female officer’s breasts and shoving her hand up a WPC’s skirt.

Lesbian Cooper had such a reputation as a groper that colleagues switched shifts to avoid her, it was claimed.

Prosecutor Glyn Samuel said: “The behaviour complained of is persistent non-consensual touching.

“It includes the slapping of bottoms, the groping of breasts and even grabbing the groin area of male officers.”

Cooper, an ex-police community support officer of Stourbridge, West Mids, allegedly put her hand up an off-duty WPC’s skirt after creeping up behind her at a beer festival.

And it was claimed she repeatedly slapped and touched another female PCSO’s bottom — once asking: “Do you fancy a shag?”

When she spotted a male officer walking through a police station wearing cycling shorts she allegedly grabbed him between the legs, then said: “Nice package.”

Cooper denies eight counts of sexual assault. The Warwick Crown Court trial goes on. - www.thesun.co.uk
