Guard nabbed for raping teen model
A security guard has been arrested for raping a 17-year-old model in Harbin, China.
Lin Dong later surrendered to police and said the evil idea came to his mind after seeing that she was drunk and was living by herself.
On April 17, model Xiao Mei (not her real name), who was drunk after attending a dinner function, took a taxi home around 11.30pm.
When she woke up later, she found a naked stranger sleeping next to her. She screamed and rushed to the bathroom to call her friend for help.
The man ran away.
Xiao Mei told police that she did not know what had happened and how she got home, as she was very drunk.
Police summoned the taxi driver, surnamed Liu, to assist in investigations.
"The girl fell asleep after getting into my car. When I arrived at her apartment building, three men were already there.
"One of them got in but I told him I have to send the girl home first.
"He told me to hand over the girl to his two friends, saying one of them is the security manager there and another is the management staff.
"I believed him because one of them was in a security guard's uniform and the other was wearing a suit," said the taxi driver.
Liu said he left after seeing Xiao Mei entering the apartment building with help from the man in a security guard uniform, who happened to be Lin Dong.
Lin Dong was a security guard at the building before, but had left and was working with another security company. He went to meet his former colleagues the night he bumped into Xiao Mei.
