Transsexual's 19th rape claim
A transsexual in the United Kingdom is alleging she was raped…again.
This is the 19th time she has done so.
It is unclear if any of her allegations have resulted in prosecution.
The police are required to investigate every single claim because of the risk of getting it wrong.
Every time she alleges rape, a suspect is arrested, handcuffed, taken to a police station to have their fingerprints taken.
Her latest allegation is against a 26-year-old man she met on an Internet dating site.
Former policeman John O’Connor said: “I’ve never heard of someone making 19 complaints. Common sense tells you her claims need careful examination."
However, a leading anti-rape charity defended the woman’s right to make as many complaints as she wanted.
