American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert will make Kuala Lumpur rock and roll on Oct 14. Five days later, pop-punk band Paramore will have their turn to make things hot.
Jointly organised by Marctensia and Sony Music, Lambert’s Glam Nation Tour Live in Malaysia 2010 concert will take place at the Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil on Oct 14 while Paramore will perform on Oct 19 at the National Stadium here.
“I hope the audience will be able to escape for a few hours and fall into a world full of glam, drama and excitement,” said Lambert, 28, in a media release for his Asian tour.
The flamboyant Lambert’s hits include For Your Entertainment and Whataya Want From Me.
The Asian leg of the Glam Nation Tour in October will only include stops in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Manila in South-East Asia. Ticket details will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Paramore Live in Kuala Lumpur 2010 is presented by Tune Talk, a local prepaid mobile service.
Led by frontwoman Hayley Williams, the Tennessee-based group has been growing from strength to strength since its first album All We Know Is Falling in 2005.
Paramore’s second album Riot! in 2007 sold more than two million copies worldwide.
Apart from vocalist Williams, 21, the other members of the band are Josh Farro (lead guitarist), Jeremy Davis (bassist), Zac Farro (drummer) and Taylor York (guitarist).
Paramore concert tickets are RM358 for the Rock Zone free standing category, and RM268, RM168 and RM98 for the free seating category (ticket handling fee included). Early birds will enjoy a 10% discount on all ticket categories purchased from today to Sept 15.
