David lost 83kg to be The Biggest Loser Asia

Check out David's major transformation
It pays to lose weight.
David Gurnani of Indonesia shed off a total of 83kg in three months to emerge as the first winner of The Biggest Loser Asia, a reality show on weight loss.
"I never thought that I would say this, but it feels great to be a loser. Asia's Biggest Loser," said the 25-year-old in a press conference in FINAS studios in Ampang, where the final weigh-in was held.
"It's by the grace of God that I have won especially with strong competitors like Carlo (from the Philippines) and Aaron (from Malaysia). I still am amazed by my transformation. I've been overweight all my life and have never felt healthier and stronger than I do now."
Always a fat boy, as David put it, he was a whopping 157kg at the beginning of the competition.
Thanks to his future wife, the overweight salesman was determined to get into shape before their wedding at the end of this year.
"I want to look compatible with my beautiful fiancée," he said during his audition.
As the first winner of The Biggest Loser Asia, David walked away with US$100,000 (RM350,000) and a Renault car.
