Adidas has launched its latest sport boot, Predator Lethal Zones, designed by football's greatest players today—Dutch striker Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Spanish midfielder Xavi Hernández (Barcelona), French midfielder Samir Nasri (Manchester City), Portuguese winger Nani (Manchester United) and Argentine winger Ángel di Maria (Real Madrid).

Each athlete contributed to the design of the boot's "lethal zones", taking into consideration footballing needs like high-speed dribbling, first touch, a sweet spot to pace while striking a goal, and what Adidas calls "Perfect Ball Control".

The event was attended by players from the national football team, who wore the Adidas Predator Lethal Zones boot and showed off some soccer tricks.

Also there were pop singer Diana Nadzir, TV host Ben Ibrahim, beatbox musician Shawn Lee, Malaysian striker Nurshahrul Idlan Talaha (see our video below), as well as supermodel and modelling academy headmistress Amber Chia, who was still celebrating Spain's EUFA Euro 2012 victory.

"I support the team that my hubby (manager Adrian Wong) supports," said Amber. She was also a guest at Adidas' recent celebratory party for the Spanish team. There's another reason why she's into football—the influence of the other man in her life, her one-year-old son Ashton.

"He loves football. He goes, 'Ball! Ball!' whenever he watches a match," she told Daily Chilli, while carrying Ashton in her arms. True enough, as soon as he spotted the Adidas Ball balloon, he squealed, "Ball!"

According to Amber, Ashton was introduced to the beautiful game even before he was born. "Maybe he's crazy about football because I watched the World Cup during my pregnancy," said the 31-year-old mum.
