Annie Wu says 'I do' in Japan
One wedding is apparently not enough for Taiwanese actress Annie Wu Chen-Chun. Days after saying 'I do' to her boyfriend of three years, Aaron Lai, in a low-key wedding in Beijing, the happy couple exchanged wedding vows again in a church wedding in Okinawa, Japan, yesterday.
However, different from the previous wedding, this one was graced by Wu's showbiz pals, such as Ruby Lin and Rachel Ngan Wing-Sze -who were the bridesmaids - and Alec Su, who served as the best man.
Stars like Andy Lau, Nicholas Wu and Hong Kong filmmaker Ann Hui were also invited but could not make it. Still, they sent their greetings via videos, which were later played at the wedding.
The 33-year-old bride, best known for her roles in Hong Kong action flicks like Police Story 4: First Strike, was seen walking down the aisle in a simple white gown.
Liao is a top-level executive in Hong Kong-based television broadcaster Phoenix Satellite Television, as well as the great-grandson of the principal architect of the first Kuomintang-Chinese Communist Party, Liao Zhong Kai.
