Fan Bingbing to make Hollywood debut

Following Li Bingbing's venture in Hollywood, another Bingbing is ready to do the same.
Fan Bingbing has been cast in The Moon & the Sun, a Hollywood action fantasy blockbuster and will star opposite former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan as well as multiple-award-winning British thespian Sir Ben Kingsley.
The film will see Fan playing a mermaid who is captured by King Louis XIV of France in order to protect the future of his crown.
Fan's management confirmed that she has accepted the role, adding that while there will be no full nudity, it will be a sexy performance.
It's not the first time that Fan, 30, has contended for a role in a Hollywood flick. At one point, she's rumoured to be vying for the role of Bond Girl , along with other Chinese actresses like Li, Shu Qi and Tang Wei.
In recent years, the Chinese star has risen to become a media darling following her appearances on the red carpet of international film festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival.
