Beauty and the biz

Former Miss Indonesia Artika Sari Devi 2004 says her online kids clothing store is attracting buyers as far away as Australia.

She is also is selling garments that can fetch hundreds of thousands of rupiah via Facebook.

"It started out as something I did for fun. It was also a way for me to learn about business. Because of its online nature, the business operations do not consume much money," Artika said, as quoted by tempo.co.

Her store is called Sugar Baby Indonesia and sells clothing for children aged 2-10.

"There's a reason why I included 'Indonesia' in the business name. I wanted foreigners to know that these clothes were made in Indonesia," Artika said.
