Cecilia to meet Hollywood studio boss?
Cecilia Cheung celebrates her 32nd birthday in Cannes, France.
Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung first set foot at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005, when she was promoting Chen Kaige's The Promise, the film which famously marked her reconciliation with Nicholas Tse.
Seven years later, a single Cheung attended the Cannes Film Festival again to promote her latest flick Dangerous Liaisons as well as to pave her way to Hollywood.
It is rumoured that the 32-year-old mother of two is planning to meet up with Harvey Weinstein, the co-chairman of The Weinstein Company (TWC).
TWC is a American film studio noted for distributing films like Inglourious Basterds, The Reader and The King's Speech, Oscar's best picture last year.
Apart from opportunities of breaking into Hollywood, this marks a meaningful trip for the actress in many ways - she celebrated her 32nd birthday when she was in Cannes, France.
