Edison Chen visits Lady Gaga in HK
Who has the ability of getting almost every celebrity in Hong Kong star-struck?
It's none other than Lady Gaga, who is set to hold four concerts at AsiaWorld-Arena, Hong Kong, starting May 2.
While a string of Hong Kong stars gush about the chances of watching Mother Monster performing live, it seemed that one of them managed to get up close and personal with the American superstar.
It's none other than Edison Chen, whose friendship with the singer dated back to two years ago, when he shared a photograph he took with Gaga and claimed that he got to know her through her manager.
At 11.30am on Sunday, the Hong Kong bad boy is photographed entering the hotel Gaga stays in. It is speculated that he went there to meet up with Gaga and her manager. Chen, 31, was approached by the press when he stepped out from the hotel, but declined to answer any question.
Hong Kong marks the second stop of Gaga's The Born This Way Ball world tour. Tickets are sold out and the Hong Kong shows are expected to draw more than 48,000 fans.
It is reported that Gaga, 26, originally planned to hit Lan Kwai Fong, a favourite clubbing hotspot of celebrities, but changed her mind later. Instead, she held a party in her presidential suite, asking her chef to prepare food for over 50 guests.
"I can't wait to rock this city," she tweeted earlier on. Later, she expressed her amazement at how convenient it is to do multiple things in the city.
"Exhausted after Hong Kong spin class! I love this city, you can work out & buy a fake Birkin on the same street," she wrote.
