Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are aliens! Well, in Men in Black 3 anyway.
Director Barry Sonnenfeld tells Collider.com that both pop singers have been given small intergalactic roles in the upcoming summer blockbuster.
"In this (instalment) there are a few people that you'll see up on the surveillance board, including Lady Gaga, Tim Burton, who probably knows more about aliens than I do, and let's see who else... Justin Bieber," Sonnenfeld said.
The plot of Men in Black 3 involves a time-travel romp for Agent J, who is sent back to 1969 to suss out the mystery of what happened to his partner. Through some quirk of the time/space continuum, K no longer exists, and that bodes poorly for planet Earth, which is imperilled by an alien invasion.
The sci-fi comedy stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin as the young Agent K. It’s scheduled to hit theatres on May 25.
