Christopher Lee joins Chi-ling's management

MediaCorp star Christopher Lee is ready to spread his wings outside Singapore and Malaysia.

The Malaysia-born, Singapore-based actor has been enjoying high popularity across the Causeway, thanks to a string of popular MediaCorp series as well as his marriage to Caldecott Hill Queen Fann Wong.

Now, Lee, 40, is setting his sights beyond, by signing with Catwalk Production House, the leading entertainment company in Taiwan that manages the career of Lin Chi-ling and Ethan Ruan.

Lee is set to start his career with a bang. He'll next be seen alongside the Taiwanese beauty in Sweetheart Chocolate, her latest flick which also stars Japanese star Hiroyuki Ikeuchi.

Ling, 37, has nothing but kind words for newly joined Lee.

"I've heard so much from (renowned Singaporean stylist) David Gan and finally meet him now. It's very cold in Shanghai and he brings the sunny atmosphere from Singapore to Shanghai," she quipped.

Worry not, Lee has not parted ways with MediaCorp, the biggest TV station in Singapore responsible for turning him into a household name. It is said that Lee's works in Singapore and Malaysia will still be managed by MediaCorp, while Catwalk Production House will handle his career in the Asian region and try to market him in a bigger scale through roles in Taiwanese films and drama series.
