Carey Mulligan not famous enough for Glee?
Carey Mulligan can next be seen in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
She is only 25 years old but is already one of the most raved about actresses of her generation, with an Oscar nomination under her belt for her impressive turn in the lovely coming-of-age story An Education.
However, British actress Carey Mulligan was deemed “not famous enough” to be on musical hit series Glee.
In an interview with Vogue, she said, “I want to be in Glee, but I'm told I'm not famous enough to be a cameo.”
Ouch. Despite being snubbed, Mulligan can always comfort herself with the fact that she has hooked another hot property in Hollywood – Shia LaBeouf.
However, do not expect the pair of lovebirds to pose together for movie premieres.
“Posing on the red carpet feels like you’re selling something that has nothing to do with you. If you do it with someone else, it's like we're saying, ‘Oh! We come as a pair! Would you like to buy both of us? We're available for weddings and Bar Mitzvahs,” said the Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star.
