Alliesha Amir the 'bad-girl'

Alliesha Amir is TV's resident 'bad girl'.
"I always get offers to play the 'bad-girl' in films," says local actress Alliesha Amir.
"For some reason, directors tend to offer me ‘bad-girl’ roles. So I’m always either the rape victim or a corpse about to be dissected by a forensic scientist," she adds.
While Alliesha has no idea why she has been typecast into bad-girl roles, she tells Mstar Online: "Maybe Malaysian directors think I have a face that suits bad-girl roles."
For instance, she plays a victim who has been kidnapped and raped continuously by three men in the local drama Gerak Khas, which is currently on air.
She plays a sexy seductress in her upcoming film, Ratu The Movie.
"There’s a ‘sensitive’ bedroom scene in it," she reveals.
Alliesha also admits that people probably have a negative perception of her following her slew of adulterous roles, but she is not affected by it.
"It’s my job and I do my best to play my characters," she says. "As long as I’m not required to do anything lewd or outrageous, I’m fine with it."
The actress adds that she is nothing like the characters she plays on screen.
"In person, I am funny and I love making jokes. I’m also kind."
