American Idol wants Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson should feel so lucky.
News has it that the American Idol executives have met with the pop tart several times to discuss the possibility of her coming on board the reality show.
We don't want Jessica on Idol if she ain't looking like this
"They like her - she's a good fit - and she likes it. Now it's just a question of how to fit her in," reports Life & Style magazine.
A rep for Jessica has reportedly confirmed that the two sides have been in contact, but it's no deal yet.
Fox, the official broadcaster for American Idol, has yet to comment on the matter.
