Ex-AKB48 member releases nude photo album
A former member of the all-female Japanese pop idol group AKB48 has moved into the AV (adult video) industry.
Nakanishi Rina, 22, has also released a nude photobook Departure on July 13.
Her first AV will be released soon.
The star, who is now under the new pseudonym Yamaguchi Riko, is facing a lawsuit from her ex-employer for her acts.
Her contract with AKB48's agency ended in November, 2008.
However, there is a clause stating that she must not do anything that could harm the group's image and reputation for the next three years.
The agency has deemed that the nude photo book has breached their terms.
The Tokyo district court however has ruled in the artist's favour, saying that the book would do no significant harm to AKB48's image as Nakanishi has changed her name and her age to 19.
AKB48 is the top female pop group in Japan.
Their previous single album Ponytail to Shushu sold over 500,000 copies within a week.
