Faye Wong's comeback concerts tickets sold out in 10min
Fans of Faye Wong have long waited for the star to make a comeback to the stage and this was evident from the overwhelming respond to the superstar's concerts to be held in the end of the year.
The concerts are part of 'Faye Wong 2010 Concert' tour - five will be held in Beijing while another in Shanghai.
Tickets for the concerts are priced at 300 yuan (RM141), 500 yuan (RM236), 1,000 yuan (RM471), 1,500 yuan (RM707) and 2,000 yuan (RM942) and 2,500 yuan (RM1,178).
Tickets for Wong's Beijing shows began selling on Friday. And in less than 10 minutes, the 300 yuan and 2,500 yuan tickets were all sold out.
It has been five years since Faye Wong performed in a concert. The superstar has stayed away from the limelight after giving birth to her second daughter.
It is learnt that Faye Wong is paid 6.5mil yuan (RM3.25mil) for the concerts.
And 500,000 yuan (RM250,000) of the money will be channeled to the Smile Angel Foundation, which she and her husband Li Yapeng set up to help patients with cleve lips.
