Zhao Wei's pregnancy confirmed

THE months-long speculation over the pregnancy of Chinese artiste Vicky Zhao Wei has come to an end.
Hong Kong film director Daniel Lee Yan-gong confirmed the star's pregnancy during a promotional tour of his latest movie 14 Blades at Chengdu, China on Friday.
Zhao, the lead female actress in the movie to be released next month, has been absent from all related activities, China media reported.
At the promotion tour in Chengdu, Lee said:
"As good friends, we should give her more privacy. On this matter, we are by her side. Everyone wants to see the birth of their own child."
The event was attended by most of the main characters in the film including Donnie Yen Ji-dan, Wu Zun and Kate Tsui Tsz-shan.
Earlier, paparazzi captured the 34-year-old Zhao in photo on the streets of Singapore. She was seen wearing a loose and long outfit.
She was said to be five-month pregnant then.
Zhao's last public appearance was at the dinner to celebrate the success of Mulan on Dec 3, last year.
She did not attend the Smile Angel Foundation charity banquet organised by her good friend Faye Wong on Dec 18, last year as well as another good friend Nan Ying’s concert.

She was believed to continued staying in the Republic until her baby is born.
But the end of the speculations over Zhao's pregnancy was the beginning of another rumour about her marital status.
At press time, no one could confirm if she has married her reported boyfriend Marco, a 31-year-old multi-millionaire businessman.
Zhao was reported to be the third party in the love relationship between Marco and former Miss Hong Kong Tracy Ip.
