Sasha Elite's 'peaceful' divorce

Not all divorces have to end in a bitter bitching session. Case in point - the recent divorce of former Elite member, Sasha Saidin.
Sasha says she has no regrets about what happened in the marriage because it was built on love. Sasha also declined to reveal the cause of household problems with ex-husband, Salyo Priyanto because she wanted to protect the name of her former husband. "As a Muslim I do not need to open the can of worms about what happened between us. What can I say, we were tried to improve our domestic situation, but unfortunately divorce is best for both of us," she told mStar Online.

On 10th July, Salyo, 37, an Indonesian, divorced Sasha, 36, at the Gombak Syariah Subordinate Court. Sasha and Salyo were seen in tears immediately after the pronouncement of the divorce Sasha was accompanied by her mother, Siti Aishah Abdullah .
Sasha says she and her former husband has agreed to remain friends for the sake of their only child, namely, Adam Aryasenna Notosoemarsono, who was three years old."We love our son more than everything else and he will never be neglected because of the problems that we have.
"My relationship with the former family also remains good. I have always regarded them as my family, but they will come to Kuala Lumpur next week to meet with us," said Sasha again.
Sasha and Salyo were married in 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is the second marriage for Sasha. Before that, Sasha was married to Jason Skinner (Abdullah John Skinner), on June 21, 2003 at the Central Mosque Regent's Park, London.They separated four years later.
