Ella to marry pilot 16 years her junior

Ella, whose classic hits include Layar Impian and Dua Insan Bercinta, is getting hitched to Firefly pilot, Azhar Ghazali. that's 16 years her junior.
Ella, whose real name is Norzila Aminudin, 46, will perform the Akad Nikah ceremony this Saturday, July 7 at the family home in Klang.
She has known Azhar, who is 16 years her junior, for the last nine years but the relationship only became serious in the last three.
The ceremony is scheduled after Isha prayers and is for relatives and the media only. There is a planned reception on Dec 1 this year at the International Convention Centre, Putrajaya.
Ella could not be contacted by press time.
But sister of the singer, beautician Saidatulnisa Aminuddin claims their mother Asmah Yong was overjoyed when she heard the news.
Siadatulnisa adds Ella and Azhar will wear Saiful Baharim designs at the Akad Nikah..
Ella began her recording career in the mid 80s. Her most recent album was 2007’s Rama Rama.
