It's done! Anzalna says sorry to Neelofa

Zed Zaidi (third-L) witnesses Anzalna (L) saying sorry to Neelofa (second-R).
Our hope of seeing Azura star Neelofa and Sepah actress Anzalna settle their who-said-what squabble in a mud fight has been dashed. After weeks of accusations, denials, legal threats and press statements, the former Dewi Remaja rivals have finally reached a settlement—and Neelofa has won!
Yesterday, 24-year-old Anzalna was forced to make a formal apology to 23-year-old Neelofa at a press conference in the presence of Neelofa's attorneys and representatives from Seniman (the Malaysian Artistes Association), who helped to broker the truce.
In her prepared statement, Anzalna admitted she had no proof to back her allegation that Neelofa had started a hate page against her on Facebook and said she did not mean to humiliate anyone when she made her claims to the press.
"I, Nur Anzalna Md Nasir, on the advice of Seniman, apologise to Neelofa for making statements that affected her reputation and her family, in a story published in Berita Minggu on page 10 on 10th June 2012."
"I admit I did not have strong evidence when I made the statements. ... To be honest, I did not mean anything and did not intend to embarrass anyone by the statement."
Neelofa's victory comes two weeks after her legal team sent Anzalna a Notice Of Demand: verify your comments about our client or we'll press charges against you for defamation. Unable to back her story on Neelofa, Anzalna ultimately consented to a public apology and the lawyers dropped the lawsuit.
Neelofa and her team then sent Anzalna another letter, through Seniman president Zed Zaidi, which forced her to agree to certain clauses regarding their settlement, to guarantee the sincerity of her apology. Anzalna said she found the stipulations unusual, but signed the papers anyway to end the drama.
