Adele's pregnant with her first baby!
Adele will be craddling someone very different soon.
Adele is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki!
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote on her website last night. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me. Obviously we're over the moon and very excited, but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
Adele, 24, and divorced charity boss Simon, 36, have been dating since January after they were introduced by mutual friends.
Adele's friends have already taken to Twitter to congratulate her and Simon. Pop star Lily Allen, who gave birth to her first baby Ethel last year, posted: "Wow. Adele's preggers! Congratumalations to her and Simon!"
Ellen DeGeneres said: "Adele is pregnant! I'm so happy, I'm rolling in the deep! At least I think I am. I'm still not 100% sure what it means.”
The announcement tops off a whirlwind two years that saw Adele become a global sensation. She had the world's best-selling album of the last decade with 21, moving over 21 million copies.
She also picked up six Grammys for 21, including record of the year for Rolling In The Deep, and best pop female vocal performance for Someone Like You.
