Mark Chao has never had sex
Mark Chao, currently promoting his movie First Time, has revealed that he's still a virgin.
At the premier of his film in Taiwan, the 27-year-old Taiwanese heartthrob was asked about his sexual experiences when he admitted that he's never done the deed.
The media, however, remains unconvinced of his innocence.
After all, he was photographed spending four nights at a hotel with his 32-year-old Chinese girlfriend, Gao Yuanyuan, in March this year, barely a month after they began dating.
Chao says they were "just chit-chatting".
Though reporters suspected he was fibbing, they ended that line of questioning.
As a reward for letting him off the hook, he told them about his very first snog. "My first love was nothing exciting. The kiss was not quite romantic," he said.
Charming. We wonder what she's thinking now about letting him get to first base. Chao also said his recent trip to Vietnam with Gao was their first holiday together.
