Joyce celebrates b'day with dad Adam
Guess this shall be a memorable birthday for Joyce Cheng, the daughter of actor Adam Cheng and the late Lydia Shum.
For the first time ever, the jovial gal celebrates her 25th birthday with Adam, as well as his current wife Koon Jing-wah and Joyce's half-sisters Wing-hei and Wing-yan.
The celebration, which took place at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, is meaningful to Joyce in many ways. The marriage between Adam and Lydia ended in bitter divorce back in the late 1980s when Adam fell for Taiwanese actress Koon. Shum was deeply hurt and ended up having to raise Joyce by herself.
Though the veteran comedienne had long forgiven Adam before her death in 2008, Cheng remains distant from his ex-wife and Joyce.

The conflicts are so yesterday, however, as apparent in the happy occasion.
Joyce said: "This is the first time I celebrate my birthday with daddy. I am really happy! Daddy and Auntie (Koon) give me a big angpow and my two sisters present me with a silver necklace.
"Our relationship is not as bad (as reported). We just need time."
