Kelly Clarkson: My BF is ruining my creativity
Kelly Clarkson finds it hard to write a tough song these days as she's in a happy relationship with Brandon Blackstock, 35.
It's one of the biggest fears for any singer-songwriter, but for Kelly Clarkson, it's "an awesome problem to have".
The songstress is finding it harder to write a song these days. The reason is simple: she seems to have no more reason to sing sad, angry songs about broken hearts and lost love.
The 30-year-old American Idol alumnus is happily dating talent manager Brandon Blackstock. The pair started seeing each other since late 2011.
"It is killing me. I'm trying to write a tough song and it is coming out like butterflies and rainbows.
"It is ruining my creativity. I'm writing all this happy [stuff]," joked the singer in an interview with People magazine recently.
Brandon, 35, is the son of Clarkson's manager of five years, Narvel Blackstock.
"People are going to be, like, 'What the hell happened to you.' It has been really difficult. I love it," concluded Clarkson.
