Rose Chan has spotted seeking treatment from a psychiatrist.
The Legend is Born-Ip Man star was said to be suffering from insomnia and depression over the past few months.
It was reported that her condition was a side effect from being sexually assaulted by Benny Chan and Joe Ma last year.
"Ever since the incident, Rose has been behaving abnormally. She used to have a good appetite but now, she eats less and less and throws tantrums at her family and friends over minor matters.
"She has been emotionally unstable, and cries hysterically suddenly and has not been able to sleep well," a source said.
Recently, the 20-year-old - accompanied by her mother Ronnie - was spotted entering a psychiatrist's clinic in Central Hong Kong and met with Dr Christina Cheng for over an hour.
Apart from this, Rose also gets intense pressure from her overprotective Wing Chun sifu-cum-manager Master Sin Kwok Lam.
Master Sin has prevented Rose from hanging out with men, not even allowing her to take photographs with male strangers to prevent her from falling victim to unscrupulous people again.

Rose confirmed that she was seeking treatment for depression.
"I'm still a little traumatised by the incident and dare not get too close to men," she said.
