Ex-boyfriend skips Scha-Awal's wedding

As much as Fahrin Ahmad believes in letting bygones be bygones, the Malaysian actor admits he couldn't bring himself to attend his ex-girlfriend, Scha Al-Yahya and Awal Ashaari's wedding.
Neither would he watch the supposedly live telecast of the hotly anticipated celebrity wedding, aired over Astro on Friday.
Well, due to technical glitches, Astro could only broadcast Scha-Awal's solemnisation of marriage on Saturday.
"But I pray for her happiness," Fahrin says earnestly. "I do not like to keep grudges. I pray for all the women that I've loved before."
Citing that he has since moved on in life, the 33-year-old Seindah Sakura star adds, "But I'm not seeing anyone special at the moment. I'm taking my mum's advice - get to know as many ladies as I can before eventually deciding on the one for me."
But is it true that the beefcake is now dating Datuk K's niece, you say? "No, she's just a friend. I work with her TV producer mum," he says matter-of-factly.
"Don't worry. I will announce the good news when the time comes. I am a straightforward person. When I am in love, I will say I am in love. I do not like to hide my emotions."
Fahrin met and fell in love with Scha while working with her on Sehati Berdansa, Malaysia's version of Dancing With The Stars in 2009. But their romance was short-lived.
A twist of fate and the 29-year-old actress met top TV host Awal on the set of Sehati Berdansa too.
The happy couple courted for three years before tying the knot on May 4.
Their lavish bersanding ceremony was held in Putrajaya Convention Centre on Sunday.
