Carey Mulligan ties the knot
Actress Carey Mulligan tied the knot with her fiancé Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford in a small farm reception in Somerset, England.
The duo got married in front of one hundred friends and family members on Saturday.
Their celebrity friends who attended include Sienna Miller, Colin Firth, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
While not much detail of the nuptials have been revealed, it was reported that the couple enlisted Adele to perform at their wedding.
"Carey and Marcus are both huge fans of Adele and there will be millions of couples jealous that she is singing for them," a source told The Sun.
"Adele has always wanted to work with Mumford & Sons so when Marcus asked her to play at his wedding she said yes. Adele has not been able to perform much at all since her throat op so it's a rare gig.
"It was meant to be a secret but the couple were so excited they've let it slip."
Mulligan, 26, and Mumford, 24, became engaged in August 2011 after five months of dating.
The couple met first met in Nashville, where Mumford & Sons were performing last year. Carey had only recently split from Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Shia LaBeouf.
