Russell who? It appears that the newly single Katy Perry is already eyeing a new man.
The pop star, who separated from British funnyman Russell Brand last Dec, dedicated her hit single Peacock to American footballer Tim Tebow during her pre-Super Bowl performance on Saturday night in Indiana, United States.
You can't blame the media for interpreting it as a romantic gesture. For your information, the lyrics of the song are not as innocent as the title suggests. Part of it contains verses like "I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock, cock."
It marked the Firework singer's first U.S. concert since it was announced that Brand, 36, filed divorce from her. By the way, Perry had not made a single mention about her ex-husband throughout the show.
Instead, she gave another shout-out to Tebow, who is three years her junior. During the NFL Honors ceremony on Saturday, when presenting the first award of the night, she said to the hunky sportsman, who was sitting in the front row of the audience: "Hey Tim, my parents say hi."
It was rumoured that Perry's parents - who are ministers just like Tebow's - are eager to match-make the pair.
