Philippines' president dating Korean TV host

Philippine-Korean relations have suddenly gotten warmer.

The Philippines' president, Benigno Aquino III, has confirmed that he is dating a South Korean woman, Grace Lee.

"Well, we are seeing each other," he said during the 25th anniversary of the Philippine Information Agency on Wednesday.

Lee, who grew up in Manila, is a TV show host and radio disc jockey.

The 29-year-old also admitted to the relationship on her TV programme.

"There is no room for clarification because (what the President said) was simple and truthful," she said.

Asked to reveal details of her dates with Aquino, Lee played coy and said: "Secret."

Aquino turns 52 next week, and his love life has amused the nation.

Since becoming president in 2010, he has split up with Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad.

He was previously reported to have dated teacher Bunny Calica, celebrity stylist Liz Uy and stockbroker Len Lopez.
